We always start our day with a table activity. Today we built with blocks.
We read a book about firefighters and fire safety, practiced
dialing 9-1-1 and stopping, dropping and rolling.
The firefighters came and taught us more about staying safe. They
gave each of us a fire helmet and goodie bag. They took
us outside and showed us the fire trucks, letting us
see the lights and hear the sirens!

After our company left, we made fire trucks. It was a lot of work
to cut out all those squares, rectangles, and circles, but we were
happy with the final result!
